Angamardhana: ============== In Angamardhana, you use your own body weight and momentum to increase the flexibility of the muscle over a period of time. It is taught as a series of dynamic processes (7 standing, 8 squatting, 5 sitting, and 7 lying down) to invigorate the body and reach peak physical and mental health. It is as effective for body building as weight training, but it does not create any unnecessary stress on the system. Benefits ====== 1) Strengthens the spine, skeletal system and muscular system 2) Builds physical strength, fitness and tenacity 3) Takes years off the body, bringing a sense of lightness and freedom 4) Prepares the body for Hatha yoga Session 1 :Sep 4 : 6:00 PM - 8:45 PM Session 2 :Sep 5 : 6:00 PM - 8:45 PM Session 3 :Sep 6 : 8:00 AM -11:00 AM Session 4 :Sep 7 : 8:00 AM -11:00 AM Attendance to all 4 sessions are mandatory Regular : $400(includes program fee & wix transaction fee) As a gentle reminder: 1) Please bring a yoga mat (and a cushion to sit comfortably on the ground - if required). 2) Plan to arrive at least 10 to 15 minutes early. It is essential to arrive on time so the class can begin promptly. 3) Please wear comfortable, loose clothing. Organic cotton is best. 4) Please remember to come on an empty stomach condition. Age 8 to 13 : This means 2.5 hours after a meal, 1.5 hours after a snack, 1 hour after a beverage other than water Age 14 and above : This means 4 hours after a meal, 2.5 hours after a snack, 1.5 hours after a beverage other than water Due to the nature of this practice, there are some precautions. People who fall under any of the below categories are not eligible to participate at this time Women who are currently pregnant Anyone who has had a major open surgery in the last 6 months Anyone who has had laparoscopic surgery within the last 6 weeks
